أَقبَلَ يَهتَزُّ في غَلائِلِهٍ

مِن لَيسَ يَشفي لِعاشِقٍ غُلَّه

He came swaying in his robes,

From one whose love no medicine can cure.

فَقالَ كُلُّ اِمرِىءٍ تَأَمَّلَهُ

أَلفُ صَلاةٍ عَلى رَسولِ اللَه

And every soul who saw him cried,

"A thousand blessings on God's Messenger!"
