1. لَيتَ السِباعَ لَنا كانَت مُجاوِرَةً

    وَأَنَّنا لا نَرى مِمَّن نَرى أَحَدا

    I wish the beasts were our neighbors

    And we saw no one of those we see

  2. إِنَّ السِباعَ لَتَهدا عَن فَرائِسِها

    وَالناسُ لَيسَ بِهادٍ شَرُّهُم أَبَدا

    Beasts forgo their prey

    While people never do; their evil is endless
