بِالمَشرِفيَّةِ وَالمُظاهَرِ نَسجُها

يَومَ اللِقاءِ وَكُلِّ وِردٍ صاهِلِ

With ostentation and pretense we weave it

On the day we meet, and with every withered rose

وَبِكُلِّ أَروَعَ كالحَريقِ مُطاعِنٍ

فَمُسايفٍ فَمُعانِقٍ فَمُنازِلِ

And with every most wonderful like blazing daggers
