Leave me be, for Iblis has raised his banner,
And for the foolish, the fire of passions is lit.
Do you take the lion for a fool, defending his den,
While you meet ignorance with foxes' tricks?
My age has not helped me, if it has not made you wiser,
Nor have experiences schooled me, though their truths be manifest.
