وَقفٌ لِسيِّدةِ النَجاةِ بِهِ نَجا

مَن باتَ يَرجو مِنهُ أَجراً أَكبَرا

A stop for the lady of salvation through which he was saved

Who spent the night hoping for a greater reward from Him

حَبَست لَمِيسُ بِناءَهُ وَغِراسَهُ

فَغَدا لَها فَردوسُ برٍّ مُثمِرا

Lamees detained his building and planting

So it became for her a fertile paradise

من آلِ لمْع الأكرَمين كَريمةٌ

تَنمي إِلى رَبِّ المَعالي حَيدَرا

From the family of the sparkle of the most generous, a generous woman

Who grows to the Lord of grandeur Haydar

وَافى مُؤرِّخُهُ فَقالَ مسطِّراً

وَقفٌ عَلَيهِ ثَوابَ رَبِّكَ قَد جَرى

Its historian has arrived, saying inscribed

A stop on it your Lord's reward has flowed
