This noble daughter of the Nahhas house has passed away,
like a branch on which the heat of a samūm blew.
She left her father, Wahba, in anguish,
weeping over the snapping of her well-knit frame.
A virgin, she came to dwell with the company of virgins in
an abode where she attained the finest bliss.
Then her chronogrammatist came and cried aloud, saying:
“A noble daughter has come to dwell in the keeping of the All-Generous.”
