كَريمةٌ مِن بَني اِستَنْهوبَ قَد نَزَلَت

في طَيِّ قَبرٍ نَدى الرِضوانِ كلَّلهُ

A generous woman from the Bani Astinhoub tribe

Has descended into a perfumed grave

قَضَت بِأَوطاننا مِن دَهرِها زَمَناً

أَجرَت بِهِ مِن صَنيعِ الخَير أَجمَلَهُ

She spent some time in our land

Doing the most beautiful good deeds

لِذاكَ أَبقَت لَها فَضلاً نُؤرِّخُهُ

أَحيا لأَسْتِيرَ ذكراً لا فَناءَ لَهُ

For that she left a legacy we chronicle

Reviving the memory of Asteer that will never fade
