This stranger who made Damascus weep, when
He met separation in his journeys, faced his fate
He left the noble family of Qalawoz grieving
For as long as time continues, their tears flow
He went to his Forgiving Lord, taking
The paths of his exile to the Most High as his roads
So if you visit his grave, O historian
Write "Abraham prayed to God and He responded"
