أراك بخاطري في كل آن

مقيماً لم تزل تغدو وتمسي

I see you in my mind at every moment

Remaining, neither ceasing at dawn or dusk

فكيف تظنُّ ان يسلوك قلبي

وانت المنّ والسلوى وانسي

So how can you think that my heart will console you

When you are the bliss and the consolation and my joy

احبك لا لأن الاصل اصلي

بلى لك اسوة والجنس جنسي

I love you not because we share an origin

But yes, you are my exemplar and we share a race

اما وجلال قدس اللَه حقّاً

حكمت مؤيداً بجلال قدس

By the majesty and sanctity of God truly

You have ruled, supported by majestic holiness

جرى لك في القضاء يراع عدل

به بيَّضت كل سواد لبس

Fate has treated you with justice that observes equity

With it you have whitened every darkness worn

اجدول فيك وجه الطرس حتى

يعود مذَّهباً قلمي وطرسي

I schedule you as the shining face until

My pen and page return gilded by you

بدت لك طلعةٌ اخفى سناها

سنا القمرين بدر دجى وشمس

A rising star appeared to you, hiding its years

The years of two moons, a bright full moon and sun

وعشر انامل متكافئات

همت بالجود خمساً بعد خمس

And ten equal fingers

Aspired through generosity, five after five

فدتك قضاتنا عربٌ وفرسٌ

وقلَّ فداك من عُرب وفرس

Our Arab and Persian judges sacrifice themselves for you

And few Arabs and Persians say, "I sacrifice myself for you"

ودمت بايمن وقران سعدٍ

مدى الايام لم يقرن بنحس

And may you remain in prosperous times and happy destinies

For the length of days, never paired with misfortune
