سلام محب رق حالا ومنطقا

وجسما ومن يهوى برق ويسقم

له كل آن انة بعد أنة

لظاها على اعضائه تنقسم

فمن يخبر النائين ان اضالعي

على عهدهم محنيها لا يقوم

In their covenant bent not straightening

وان اشتيقاي بالأصائل والضحى

بقلبي منه موضع الشوق مفعم

And my longing for the roots and dawn

In my heart from it the place of yearning filled
