لَن تحلب الشاةُ أَفاويقها

أَو يَخلَع التيس عَلَيها الرَسَن

The sheep will not yield her udders

Nor the goat his crooked horn unshed.

فَاِحذَر عَلى ثَغرك مِن منعظ

يَقَطع عَن ضرعك عرق اللبن

So beware the lion's open jaws

That would your milky fountains shred.
