وَمخطفات كَأَنَّ الحُب أَخطفها
هيف الخُصور ثَقيلات المَآخير
With fluttering hair, as though love had disheveled it,
In the castles, heavy with sighs,
صُفر الثِياب كَأَنَّ الدَهر أَلبَسَها
بِناضر النَبت أَلوان الدَنانير
Their yellow robes as though time had clothed them
With the blossoming plants, the hues of gold coins.
