يا ناس ما أحلى العافية

أحلى من الزلابية

O people, how wonderful is wellness

Sweeter than dates

ومن كنافة جت بلاش

على قطايف رابية

And than kunafa that came for free

On fluffy pancakes

في ذا الزمان يا لطيف

مسلم لا يعمل ضعيف

In this time, O Gentle One

A Muslim who does not act weak

يصير في قلبه رجيف

وعيشته غير راضيه

Becomes in his heart shaken

And his life unsatisfied

دا لا الضعيف يا مسلمين

يصير عنه الياسمين

It's not that the weak, O Muslims

Make the jasmine

أشهى من اللحم السمين

ودهن ليّه صافية

More delicious than fat meat

And oil that's unfiltered

كمنّه يبقى هكذا

أرميه بإيدي الواحدة

It's as if he remains this way

I throw him with one hand

ترى رُوليُه راقدة

وكل أعضاه واهية

You see his limbs laid down

And all his parts weak

لكنما الرب الرحيم

يجزيه بالأجر العميم

But the Merciful Lord

Rewards him with complete reward

والحمد لله الكريم

على حصول العافية

And praise be to the Bountiful

For the occurrence of wellness
