My friend, from your injustice I am the forbearing one
And my heart in loving you is sincere
My eyes from your beauty are in delight
And my heart from your injustice in it is hell
To how much longer will I be tortured by you unjustly
If only you were aware of what I face
And how much I called my heart away from it
But it said, your love O lovers
So be like your exalted name, forbearing
For Abraham, woe to him, was forbearing
