لا تَغبِطِ القَبرَ عَلى جِدَّةٍ
وَجِسمُ مَن حَلَّ بِهِ داثِرُ
Do not envy the grave for its newness
While the body of its dweller is decaying
يَستَأنِسُ الطَّرفُ إِلى قُربِهِ
كَأَنَّما باطِنُهُ ظاهِرُ
The eye is drawn to its nearness
As if what’s inside is visible
