أَغرُّهُ بناظِرٍ

أَغرُّهُ بناظِرٍ

ولم أَفه بكلمهْ

ولم أَفه بكلمهْ

I beguile him with a glance,

without uttering a word.

يُجيبُني بحاجِبٍ

يُجيبُني بحاجِبٍ

لكنْ بنونِ العَظمهْ

لكنْ بنونِ العَظمهْ

He answers me with an eyebrow—

but with the nūn of majesty.
