بأبي شادِنٌ توثَّقتُ بالأَيْ

مانِ مِنهُ مِن قَبلِ شَدِّ وثاقي

By my father steadfastly I trusted in

The covenant of him before binding and covenant

فهو إن لا يكنْ لحرْبٍ فحَرْبٌ

علَّمَتْهُ خيانة الميثاقِ

So if it is not for war, it is war

Betrayal of the covenant has taught him

نَفَرٌ من أُمَيَّةَ نَفَرَ الإس

لامُ مِن بَينِهِم نُفُورَ إباقِ

A group from Umayyah, Islam recoiled

Amongst them, recoiling of debauchers

أَنفَقوا في النّفاقِ ما غَصَبُوهُ

فَاِسْتَقَامَ النّفاقُ بِالاتّفاقِ

They spent in hypocrisy what they usurped

So hypocrisy went straight with agreement
