Ruins, hail! Their years have passed
Where dew and tears combine as one
When warriors spoke as such to me
My demons sang, madness was their tune
And wove for me from what I say
Poems that shooters chant as one
Yearning, the warriors’ elders stoop
To crucifixion, so their zeal comes to me
Do you not see God veils the warrior
When the groups assemble, their colors foul
In the greens of warriors' faces
Ugly marks no mud can hide
Sulaym and Amir attacked us
So we guaranteed them what they were owed
To us the people of misery were warriors
To them, a bridge, and that was its price
When the little green one takes the millstone
Her braid moves and flour flies
The little green one hasn’t in one night
Borne but increasing misery in her womb
