ليست تفى عند ذى عقل بقيراط

God does not let a world remain

Whose worth is not even a carat to the wise

دنيا تأبت على الاحرار عاصية

وطاوعت كل صفعان وضراط

A world that defies the free

And obeys every low and vile person
