Does the avenger of spilt blood demand payment

From she who has vowed to kill those she loves?

Cheeks that reveal no hint of innocence

Save that I see thee walking proud and erect.

With soft smooth cheeks made fair by kohl,

On which beauty has poured slavery's fetters.

Branches waving at dawn and at dusk

Cloaked in the darkness of her face's dawn.

The antelope of Wajd alarmed a herd

Roses redden her cheek, glances ensnare.
