1. أعْطِرْ بخيريِّنا نَسِيماً

    كأنَّهُ في الظَّلامِ نَدُّ

    Perfume the breeze with our goodness

    As if it in the darkness glows

  2. لكِنَّهُ يَخْتَفي نَهاراً

    فهوَ لزَهْرِ الرِّياضِ ضِدُّ

    But it disappears in daylight

    So it's the opposite of the garden's blossoms

  3. كأنَّهُ إذ يَضُوعُ لَيْلاً

    مِنْ مِسْكَةِ الدَّجْنِ يُسْتَمدُّ

    As if when it shines at night

    It draws from the musk of the night
