A head-veil with morning freshness decked,

As 'twere with dripping butterfly net

New-caught — so fain it seems to drip

With the pearls the night distilled on it.

Uplift it from thy brow; and lo!

The dawn-light gems thy glances throw,

As 'twere some moon bud-like enfurled

With graces opening on the world.
