لهُ لسانانِ من قرنٍ إلى قَدمِ
لا ينطُقانِ بغير السّحرِ والحِكَمِ
He has two tongues from horn to foot
That speak naught but magic and wisdom
كأنّ أولهُ من حيةٍ سكنَت
إلى لِيانةِ كفِّ غَضّةِ العَنَمِ
As though the first of them dwelt
In the palm of a delicate soft hand
