فَصِلَن مُمحِضاً تجد بينَ فكَي

هِ لساناً بهِ يراضُ الكلامُ

A tongue whose eloquence delights the mind

And conversation soothing as a breeze

وَحديثاً كأنّهُ قِطَعُ الرَّو

ضِ إذا ما هَمى عليهِ الغَمامُ

That stirs the branches when the clouds give rain

Bestows on all who listen joy and ease
