إن وَهب بن مسرّه

بين أهلِ العلمِ دُرّه

Among the learned is a pearl

كانَ في مَجلِسه اليَو

مَ على العِلمِ معَرَّه

In his gathering today

Displaying his knowledge openly

إذ علا القيّمُ رأ

سَ البثرَ ليِّ بدُرّه

When the overseer raised his head

Like the full moon rising
