انصبَّت الخمرُ على كمِّه

تلثُمُ منه كُمُّهُ خِدمَه

The wine spilled onto his sleeve;

his sleeve, on his behalf, kisses his servants.

لو لم تُرِد خدمَتَه بالتي

قد فَعَلت ما خَصَّصَت كُمَّه

Had it not meant to serve him by what

it had done, it would not have singled out his sleeve.
