مَعالٍ جازَت الجَوزا جَوازا
وحسنٌ قَد حَوى الحسنى وَجازا
With virtues Jawza has excelled
And beauty encompassing all beauty prevailed
وَكَعبَةُ مَكرُماتٍ قَد تَجَلّت
فَلَم يَرَ دونها الراجي حِجازا
The honored Kaaba has been manifest
Seeking it the hopeful never failed
وَما قاضي القَضاة سِوى فَتىً لا
تَرى عند الفخار بِهِ اِعتيازا
The Judge of judges solely a youth
With glory among the noble unveiled
جَلالُ الدين وَالدنيا الَّذي قَد
سَما الأَقرانَ عِلماً واِعتِزازا
Glory of religion and life who indeed
Peers with knowledge and pride excelled
ومن جمعَ النَدى والعلمَ جَمعاً
وَحُسنَ الخُلقِ وَالتَقوى فَفازا
Who gathered dew and knowledge in plenty
With morals fair and piety prevailed
إِذا حَضَرَ المَحافِلَ واِستَهَلَّت
سَماءُ العلم واِمتاز اِمتيازا
When attending gatherings, the sky of knowledge
Shone and with distinction excelled
رَأينا بلبلَ الأَفراحِ يَملا الر
رُبا طَرَباً وَفي العَلياء بازا
We saw the nightingale of joys filling the air
With melody and in the heights sailed
حَليمٌ بالوقار زَها ولكن
براح المدح يَهتَزّ اِهتِزازا
Clement with dignity, beauty yet
With breeze of praise sways and flailed
وَموفٍ بِالعَطيّة إِثرَ وعد
فَما يَحتاج مَن يَعدُ اِنتجازا
Fulfilling promise bounteously habitually
Never needing one who hopes to avail
وَجودٌ إِثر جودٍ مُستَدامٌ
كَمِثلِ السيل يحتفزُ اِحتِفازا
Generosity succeeding generosity perpetual
Like torrent aroused and assailed
فَما في علمه لولا وَإِلّا
وَلا يَحتاج من يثني اِحتِرازا
In his knowledge no buts and ifs
Needing no caution in tale regaled
فَفي الدُنيا له سِترٌ جميل
وَيَومَ الحشر إِنَّ له مَفازا
In life a beautiful veil for him
And the Day of Resurrection an avail
أَحقّ بكلّ مدح قيل قدما
فَإِن في الأَكرمين المَدحُ جازا
Worthiest of any praise uttered aforetime
For the generous, praise fits and availed
فَلَم يَقصِد سواه الفِكرُ لكن
إِلَيهِ حَقيقَةً كانوا مجازا
Though minds intended others, essentially
To him yet metaphorically they hailed
فأهلُ العصر ثَوبٌ كامِلُوهُ
ككمٍّ لُحتَ أَنتَ بِهِ طرازا
The people of the age are a perfect dress
Like a shifter you with flair detailed
أَسيّدنا الإِمامَ دُعا مُحبٍّ
يعدّكَ في نوائبِهِ ركازا
Our master the Imam a lover calls
In calamities you he hopes will avail
كنزتَ الأَجرَ وَالأَمداح لمّا
رأيتَ لغيرك الدُنيا اِكتنازا
You reaped reward and praises when
You saw the world others glean and curtailed
وَبادَرتَ المَكارِم تقتَنيها
وَلِلخَيرات إِنَّ لَكَ اِنتِهازا
And seized virtues to own them
For virtues opportunity you availed
زَفَفتُ إِلى علاك عَروسَ فكري
وَصيَّرتُ البَديعَ لَها جَهازا
I offered to you my thoughts as a bride
And creativity as her trousseau entailed
وَجائزتي الإِجازَة مِن إِمام
سما للأفق فَضلاً وَاِمتِيازا
My reward is the approval of an Imam
Who brought distinction and preference unveiled
وَقَد فاقَ الوَرى بالحقّ فَضلاً
وَمِن ستين عاماً لا يوازى
He excelled people in truth and merit
For sixty years peerless, prevailed
فَقَد أَسلَفتُ شُكري واِمتِداحي
وَحَقّي أَن أُثاب وأن أُجازا
I paid thanks and praise in advance
My right to be rewarded and approved availed
