    The teacher's robe allures abstinence

    Its style reflects fine craftsmanship

O beauty of grace that ofttimes

They called you a sorceress and sang your praises

O beard they blamed when it appeared

On his cheek though once they admired you

You revived them with a glance whenever

They paused, enraptured, and called to you

You guided them to a path with which

The hearts of lovers you guided

Deny not the hair on his cheek

For the rose is not without thorns
