She is the most high, her way above me,
And the flowers are perfumed by the memory of her.
It is the mercy of God whenever
She extends her hand to one hopeful, needy.
She is the Kaaba of generosity,
As the crowds of mankind seek the patron of creation.
The king’s court and his red pavilion
Marked the horizon’s towers and mansions.
If my handiwork rose on her horizon,
A lovely crown or wreath it might fashion,
Or if the meteors of my sky could rise
Above the gate of her palace enclosure,
Then all who lost the path of guidance
Would be led by her to proper direction.
And all who hope for the rainclouds’ downpour
Will see their thirst quenched from her outpour.
