Censure me if you wish, for my measures are sound,
While barren branches in envy abound.
Between flank and waist a distance lies,
Unlike any for smoothness to prying eyes,
By He who blessed me with comely guise,
And a beauty to baffle and dazzle all eyes.
No youth, save one with yearning fraught,
Could love me, from liquid eyes tears distraught.
My glances like keen rapiers pierce every heart,
With swift thrusts that rend eyelids apart.
