لِتَشْكُرَنّي النجومُ السّبْعُ فيكَ أَيا

مَنْ ستقلَّ لَهُ الأفلاكُ في التُّحَفِ

The seven stars should thank me for you, o one

For whom the celestial spheres will revolve in their orbits

وكيفَ تجحدُني فَضلي النجومُ وقد

سَيّرتُها عامَ تقويمي إلى الشّرَف

And how can the stars deny my merit, when

I have guided them for a year in my calendar to glory
