1. كأنّها الأرضُ من بَرْدِ الهواءِ بها

    وَيَبْسِهِ تَسْتَمِدُّ البردَ منِ زُحَلِ

    As if it is the earth, from the cold air's chill upon it,

    And its dryness, draws chill from Saturn.

  2. والشَمسُ في أولِ الأبراجِ قد خَرِفتْ

    فليسَ تفرُقُ بين الجَدْي والحملِ

    The sun at the start of the constellations has grown senile,

    So it makes no distinction between Aries and Cancer.
