كمثل قولِك أنعام وارقعة

بنى الإله لنا قامت بلا عمدِ

Like your saying 'cattle' and 'a small cloak'

God built for us bodies without pillars

وأكلت لم يسدَّ الخبزُ جوعهمُ

وفتية نبغتْ يقضون بالرصد

And they ate but bread didn't satisfy their hunger

And youths who were prominent in astronomy
