  1. إذا كنتَ إنسانا فكن خير إنسان

    فإنَّ بخيلَ القومِ ليس بِمحسانِ

    If you are a human, be the best human

    For the miser of the people is no benefactor

  2. ولا تظهرن إن كنتَ تملك سترةً

    إلى كلِّ ذي عين بصورة عُريانِ

    And do not reveal if you have a cover

    To everyone with eyes in the form of nakedness

  3. وحقِّق إذا ما قلتَ قولاً ولا تكن

    تخلطُ صدقَ القولِ منك ببهتانِ

    And fulfill if you say a word and do not be

    You mix the truth of speech with lies

  4. ولا تسرعن إن جاءَ يسألُ سائلٌ

    ولا تبذرِ السمراء في أرض عُميان

    And do not hasten if a beggar comes asking

    And do not scatter seeds in the land of the blind

  5. وكن ذا لسانٍ واحد وهو عينه

    ولا تك من قومٍ بفهيم لسانان

    And be of one tongue and it is his eye

    And do not be of a people with two tongues

  6. لسانٌ بخلقٍ وهو عضو معين

    وليس يرى ذا العضو إلا لتبيان

    A tongue with manners and it is a certain organ

    And the owner of this organ sees only to clarify

  7. ونطق بحقٍ فهو بالصدقِ ناطقٌ

    تقسم قرآناً بتقسيم فُرقان

    And spoke the truth so he speaks the truth

    Dividing the Qur’an by the separation of the Criterion

  8. فيبدو لذاك القسم من كلِّ وجهةٍ

    من العالم الأدنى إليك طريقان

    So that share appears from every perspective

    From the lowest world to you two ways

  9. طريقُ شكورٍ أو كفورٍ وما هما

    فريقان بل هم بالتقاسيم فرقان

    The way of gratitude or ungratefulness, and they are not

    Two groups but they are divisions by the Criterion

  10. فإن كنت عند القسم بالأمر عالما

    فما ثم فرقان بوجه ولا ثان

    If you know the order at the time of division

    Then there is no distinction in appearance or in meaning

  11. فما أنت بالتوحيدِ متحد به

    فربحك خسرانٌ ونقصُك رجحاني

    So you are not united with Tawheed in it

    Your profit is loss and your deficiency is my gain

  12. ولا تدخلنْ إنْ كنتَ طالبَ حكمةٍ

    حقيقةُ ما تبغيه كَفَّةُ مِيزان

    And do not enter if you seek wisdom

    The reality of what you want is the scale pan

  13. فما وضع الميزان إلا بأرضه

    هنا وبأرض الحشر والشانُ كالشان

    The scale was not placed except in its land

    And what I want is outside

  14. وما هو مطلوبي فذلك خارجٌ

    عن الحدِّ والتقسيم فيه ببرهان

    Reason and division in it with proof
