1. ثَلاثُ بُدورٍ ما يُزَنَّ بِزِنيَةٍ

    خَرَجنَ إِلى التَنعيمِ مُعتَجِراتِ

    Three moons that cannot be compared to any shining star

    Emerged to paradise, their faces veiled

  2. حَسَرنَ عَن أَمثالِ الشُموسِ إِضاءَةً

    وَلَبَّينَ بِالإِهلالِ مُعتَمِراتِ

    They uncovered sun-like faces that shone brightly

    And greeted with crescents faces that were veiled

  3. وَأَقبَلنَ يَمشينَ الرُوَيدا كَمِثلِ ما

    تَمشي القَطا في أَلحُفِ الحَبَراتِ

    And they came walking gently like

    Cats walk on carpets of leaves
