خَلَق السمواتِ والأرضَ التي

منها أنا أكبر من خلقي

He created the heavens and earth from which

I am greater than my creation

لمن درى أني منها أنا

كما أنا أيضاً من الخلقِ

For whoever knew that I am from it

Just as I am also from creation

بوجهي الخاص الذي لاح لي

وحزته في قدمِ الصدقِ

With my own face that shone for me

And I engraved it in the footsteps of truth

حزتُ به كلُّ من ناله

وجودَ ذوقٍ قَصَبَ السبق

I engraved with it all who attained it

The existence of precedence in taste

أشبه من أوجدني جوده

في النعت والأسماء والخلقِ

More resembling to the One who originated me is His generosity

In attributes, names and creation

سبحان من يعلم أني به

في بيضة التكوين في حق

Glory to Him who knows that through Him

In the egg of formation in truth

أشاهد الإنشاء فيّ كما

شاهده المذكور في النطق

I witness genesis in me as

Witnessed by the mentioned in speech

لم يتغير صفو مشروبه

للأمد الأبعد بالرَّتقِ

The clarity of His drink did not change

For the farthest future with placation

شاهد لحماً قبله أعظما

تربط بالأعصابِ والعرقِ

Witnessed flesh before it, greater

Tied with nerves and veins

وهو الذي مرَّ على قريةٍ

معترفا بالملك والمرق

And He who passed by a village

Acknowledging the King and death

خاوية ليس بها عامر

قد غابَ بالرتق عن الفتقِِ

Desolate, no one inhabits it

Vanished with placation without separation

شكراً لمن أنشأه بعدما

أماته بالقصد لا الوفق

Thanks to Him who created it after

Killing it intentionally, not coincidentally
