كلُّ وقتٍ اراك ليلةَ قدري

والتي للأنام في رمضانِ

Every time I see you is like the Night of Power

That the people have during Ramadan

هي خيرٌ من ألفِ شهرٍ وإني

أنا خيرٌ منها بغير زمان

It is better than a thousand months, and I

Am better than it without time

فضلها راجعٌ إليَّ وفضلي

راجعٌ للذي عليه براني

Its virtue goes back to me, and my virtue

Goes back to the One who nurtured me

فانظروا الخلقَ كلَّه تجدوه

أرضَه وأسماؤه المَلوان

So look at all of creation, you will find it

Its land and its diverse names

جسداً ميتاً يزول ويفنى

يومَ أمشي عنه لدارِ الجنانِ

A dead body that perishes and vanishes

The day I walk away from it to the abode of Gardens

فحياةُ الوجودِ حيثُ حللنا

منه والموتُ عند من لا يراني

So the life of existence is where we resided

From it, and death is with those who do not see me

كل فخر في كل شخص معار

غير فخري بصورة الرحمن

All pride in every person is disgraceful

Except my pride in the image of the Most Merciful

وبأشياء جمعةٍ تتعالى

كعلومِ دليلها في عيانِ

And with collected things that are sublime

Like sciences whose proof is in vision

وتخلى لله دنيا وأخرى

في عياني وتارة في جناني

And leave the world and the next

In my vision and sometimes in my heavens
