قل لامرىء رام إدراكاً لخالقه

العجز عن دَرك الإدراك إدراكُ

Tell whoever aspires to know their Creator

That realizing the unrealizable is realization

من دانَ بالحيرة الغرَّاءِ فهو فتى

لغايةِ العلمِ بالرحمن دراكِ

Whoever is perplexed by the haze has merit

For reaching the knowledge of the Merciful is realization

وأيّ شخصٍ أبى إلا تحققه

فإنَّ غايته جحد وإشراك

And whoever insists on certainty

Their end is denial and idolatry

فالعجز وعن دركِ التحقيق شمسُ حجىً

جرتْ بها فوق جوِّ النسكِ أفلاك

So incapacity to attain verification is a sun of splendor

Revolving above the cosmos of devotion are its orbits
