قل للذي نظم الوجودَ عقوداً

هلا اتخذت عليك فيه شُهودا

Say to the one who composed existence in cycles

Why did you not take witnesses over yourself in it

عدلاً من الأكوان من ساداته

المصطفين معالماً وحدودا

Just rulers from the universes and its masters

The chosen ones, landmarks and boundaries

إنَّ الذين يبايعونك إنهم

ليبايعون الحاضر المفقودا

Indeed, those who pledge allegiance to you

Are pledging allegiance to the absent, vanished one

فإذا مضى زمن مضى لمروره

عقد فجدّد للإمام عقودا

So when a time passes, it passes in its passing

Renew the pledge for the Imam, contracts

اشهد عليه بها جوارح ذاته

وكفى بربِّ الوارداتِ شهودا

Bear witness for him with the limbs of his essence

And suffice is the Lord of gifts as witness

إنَّ الإمام هو الذي شهدت له

صُمّ الجبال بكونه معبودا

Indeed, the Imam is the one for whom the deaf mountains

Testified that he is worshipped
