الرجل إنْ جاريته في فعله

أربى على حدّ السُّوى والمستوى

Man, if his conduct becomes excessive

And goes beyond moderation and balance

فاقبض عنان الطرف عن إسرائه

فالعجز علم محقق أخذ اللوى

Then restrain your gaze from wronging

For inability is a sure sign of deviation

من عنده في موقف تاهت به

ظلم الغيوبِ فما يحس وما يرى

Whoever in a situation loses his way

In the darkness of uncertainty, neither senses nor sees
