ما في الوجود اختيار عند من شهدا

وكيف ينكر ما في الكون قد وجدا

There is no choice for those who witnessed

How can one deny what in the universe exists?

وقد أتاك به القرآن في سور

يدري بها عندما تتلى الذي حجدا

The Quran has informed you in chapters

Known to those who recite what has been etched

لذاك قيدته بذي الشهودِ فلا

تزد عليه ولا تشركْ به أحدا

So I bound it to The Witnessed, add no more

Nor associate with Him anyone for sure

فمن أجوز وما في العلم من أحد

سوى الإله الذي في خلقه شِهدا

Whoever claims beyond the knowledge of all

Except the God whose creation we recall

الصورُ صورهمُ والخلقُ عينهمُ

نعم وصورتهم حقاً كما وردا

Forms are their forms, creations His essence

Yes, their image truly as mentioned

لأنه سمعنا بل كان نشأتنا

روحا ًوصورة جسم لا تقل جسدا

Since we heard, rather since our genesis

Spirit and body-form, not just flesh to profess

فما يخاطبه إلا حقيقته

مقصودةٌ عينه وهو الذي قصدا

So He addresses the true reality

His purpose, His entity whom He did address

ما ثم غير فتفنيه هويته

لذاك جاء بأنَّ الحقَّ ما ولدا

None other that makes its identity cease

Thus He said the Truth did not beget or release

ولا تولد عن شيءٍ تقدّمه

فبالوجودِ القديمِ الحادثِ انفردا

Nor is begotten from something preceding

So the Eternal, Originator, alone succeeding
