حق اليقينِ علومٌ لا يحصلها

إلا بلم وهو المخصوصُ بالعللِ

The certain knowledge is comprised of sciences

That can only be attained through determination and diligence

وهي العلوم التي أرستْ قواعدها

بالمشتريّ وبالمعهود من زُحَل

They are the sciences whose foundations were laid down

By the Purchaser and the Accustomed One from Zuhal

وعينه دونه ذوقاً تشاهده

ولو بغيت فيبقى فيه بالمثل

Its essence you witness below it in taste

And if you desire, it remains alike

وعلمه دون هذا العينُ تعلمه

بحدِّه وهو إن أزيل لم يزل

And the knowledge below this essence you learn it

By its definition, and if removed, would not disappear
