  1. بدني أضحى إلى الأممِ

    نائباً عن كعبةِ الحرمِ

    My body has become a substitute

    For the Kaaba of the Sacred Enclosure

  2. كعبة للسرِّ يسعى لها

    كلُّ من يمشي على قدمِ

    A Kaaba for the secret that all pursue

    Whoever walks upon a foot

  3. من أراد الحج يقصده

    من جميع العُرب والعجمِ

    Whoever intends the pilgrimage heads to it

    From all the Arabs and non-Arabs

  4. أنا سرّ الخلقِ كلهِّم

    أنا اللاقسمة الكلم

    I am the secret of all creation

    I am the indivisible Word

  5. إنني شفعٌ ووِتر إذا

    لم يكن بارَّبع من إرَمِ

    I am odds and evens, if

    There is no fourth with evil

  6. أنا كن لكنن شبحٌ

    قابل للجهل والحكم

    I am "be" for "be", a mirage

    Susceptible to ignorance and wisdom

  7. فيكون الجهلُ في صَبٍب

    ويكون العلمُ في عَلَم

    So ignorance becomes a flood

    And knowledge becomes a flag

  8. إننا لوحان قدْ رُقما

    غير أنَّ الوِتر في القلم

    We are two tablets that were inscribed

    Except that the odd is in the pen

  9. أنا وصفُ الوصفِ فاتصفوا

    أنا ذاتُ الذاتِ فالتزم

    I am the description of description, so describe

    I am the essence of essence, so adhere

  10. أنا سرُّ السرِّ قد عدلتْ

    همتي عن موقف الهمم

    I am the secret of secrets, I have turned

    My concern from the position of ambitions

  11. أنا نورُ النورِ قد برزت

    بوجودي ذرةُ الظلم

    I am the light of light, I have emerged

    With my existence the particle of darkness

  12. أنا عزُّ العز ما ملكتْ

    نفسي ذات الذلّ و العدم

    I am the might of might, my soul never possessed

    The essence of humiliation and nonexistence

  13. من رآني قد رأى ما خفي

    في مثال النورِ والقدم

    Whoever saw me has seen what was hidden

    In the example of light and eternity

  14. بلغ الغاياتِ قلبُ فتى

    ليمين الله ملتزم

    The heart of a young man reached destinations

    Clinging to the right hand of God

  15. قد أبحنا لثمها فمه

    عليه في سابق القدمِ

    His mouth smiled at kissing it

    Over it in precedence of footsteps

  16. سعد نفسي أنها سِعدَتْ

    بسلوكِ الواضحِ الأمم

    My soul was felicitated that it was felicitated

    By following the clear paths

  17. لم ينله غيرها عشقاً

    مثلها في سالف الأمم

    None other than it attained love

    Like it in previous nations

  18. يا رجالاً غيرنا طلبوا

    أين جود البحر من كرمي

    O other men sought

    Where is the sea's generosity from my generosity

  19. ارجعوا واستلموا كفَّ من

    إنْ يهب لم يخش من عدم

    Go back and take a handful if

    He gives and does not fear scarcity

  20. كلُّ طَرفٍ في العلى سابحٌ

    نحونا وجداً بنا يرتمي

    Every glance floating high

    Yearning for us, pouring towards us

  21. كلُّ سرٍّ خافضٌ رافعٌ

    لوجودي رغبةً ينتمي

    Every secret lowering, raising

    To my existence, belonging, inclined

  22. مثل حل الشمس في حمل

    أمنوا تحلَّة القسَم

    Like the sun dissolving in Aries

    Trust the partition of fate

  23. لم يزل ولا يزال غداً

    في نعيمٍ غيرِ منصرم

    He did not cease and will not cease tomorrow

    In perpetual bliss, never-ending

  24. وشموسُ الوصلِ طالعةٌ

    وخسوفُ البحر في العدم

    And the suns of connection rise

    While the eclipse of the sea is in nonexistence

  25. انظروا قولي لكم فلقد

    طرفُ كلِّ الناسِ عنه عمي

    Look at my words to you, for the eyes

    Of all people are blind to it

  26. تجدوه واضحاً حسناً

    منبئاً عن رتبة الكرم

    You will find it beautiful, clear

    Informing of the level of generosity

  27. يا إله الخلق يا إلهي

    وسميري في دجى الظُلم

    O God of creation, my God

    And my companion in the darkness of night

  28. جُد على صَبِّ حليفٍ ضني

    يا كثيرِ الفضلِ والنعم

    Help a stingy ally, O Abundant

    In grace and blessing
