How strange that you leave the heart for dead

While the life of hearts is in your words

أنت عيسى القلوب تنشرها من

جدث الجهل وهي من حفاظك

You are Jesus of hearts bringing them back

From the tomb of ignorance by your grace

فالحظ القلبَ ليلةَ السبتِ يحيى

سِرُّه فالحياةُ في ألحاظك

So look upon this heart on Saturday eve

Give it life, for in your gaze lies its fate
