وسارع إلى الخيرات سبقا فإن من

يسارع إلى الخيرات يُحمد سعيه

Hasten towards virtues outpacing all

For he who hastens to virtues, his efforts draw praise

ونافس كما قد نافسَ الناسُ وارتق

رقيّ الذي ما زال يعصمُ وعيَه

Compete as people have competed, aspire

To ascent, remaining protected in conscience and reason
