حدّث الشيخُ أبونا

عن أبيه عن قتادَهْ

Our sheikh Abu narrated

From his father from Qatadah

عن عطاءِ بنِ يسارٍ

عن سعيد بن عُباده

From Ata ibn Yasar

From Sa'id ibn Ubadah

إنَّ مَن مات محبّاً

فله أجر الشهاده

Verily whoever dies loving

For him is the reward of martyrdom

ثم قد ججاء بأخرى

مثل هذا وزياده

Then he came with another

Similar to this, even more

عن فُضيلِ بن عياض

وهو من أهل الزياده

From Fudayl ibn 'Iyad

And he is of the people of increase

إن من مات خليّا

كانت النار مهاده

Verily whoever dies sincere

The fire will be a bed for him
