نحنُ حزبُ الله مَنْ يلحقنا

جدُّنا جدُّ وجدُّ هزلُنا

We are the Party of God, whoever joins us

Our earnestness is earnest, and our jest is earnest

أشهد الأسرار من أحبابه

من يشاء ولها أشهدنا

I bear witness to the secrets of His loved ones

Whom He wills, and to Him we bear witness

فمتى أدرككم فينا عمى

سائلوا عنا الذي يعرفنا

So if blindness to us grips you

Ask about us those who know us

ذاكُم الله عظيمٌ جدَّه

يمنحُ الأسرارَ مَنْ شاء بنا

That God of yours is truly great

He grants the secrets to whom He wills through us

ما أماكُنا رجالاً هتفتْ

بهم الوُرقُ بدوحاتِ منى

When we were not men, the leaves

Cried out to them in the meadows of Mina

فرمينا جمرةَ الكونِ بها

فَرمَينْا بمريشات الفنا

So we cast the ember of the universe with it

And so we cast it with the feathers of annihilation

وازْدلفنا زُلفةَ الجمع فهل

أسمع القوم مناجاة المنى

And we drew near the intimacy of the gathering, so has

Anyone heard the whispered prayer of the beloved?

يا عبادي هل رأيتم ما أرى

يا عبادي هل بنا أنتم أنا

"Oh My servants, do you see what I see

Oh My servants, are you all I?"

خرسَ القوم وقالوا ربنا

أنت مولانا ونحن القرنا

The people fell silent and said "Our Lord

You are our Master, and we are Your flock"

يا عباد الله سمعاً إنني

روح مولاكم أمين الأمنا

"Oh servants of God, listen, I

Am the soul of your Master, the Trustee of wishes

أنا ماحي الكون من أسراركم

أنا سرُّ الكنز ما الكنز أنا

I am the eraser of the universe of your secrets

I am the secret of treasure, what treasure am I?

أنا جبريلُ هذي حكمتي

فاقرأوها تكشفوا ما كَمنا

I am Gabriel, this is my wisdom

Recite it and uncover what we concealed

جئتُ بالتوحيد كي أرشدكم

فاقتنوا أنفسكم من أجلنا

I came with Divine Oneness that I may guide you

So take hold of yourselves for our sake

وخذوا عني فيكم عجباً

تجدوا السرَّ لديه علنا

And take from me a wonder about yourselves

You will find the secret openly with Him

ميزوا الأحوال في أنفسكم

لا تكونوا كدعيٍّ فتنا

Differentiate between states within yourselves

Lest you be as one falsely claiming ascension

عن صحو العبد سكران بدا

عالم الأمرِ له فافتنا

The sober servant is revealed as intoxicated

The knower of the matter, so inquire of us

كما أن المحو دعوى إن بدت

في محياه علامات الوَنَا

Just as annihilation, if it appears

In its effacement, is the signs of intimacy

قل إن المثبتِ في أحواله

طبتَ بالحق فكنتَ المأمنا

Say, the one affirmed in his states

You have thrived in truth, and so became the refuge

ليست الهيبة خوفاً إنها

أدبٌ يعربه العذب الجنى

Awe is not fear, it is

A discipline the gentle breeze translates

حالُها الإطراقُ من غير بكا

ووجودُ الجهدِ من غير عِنا

Its state is composure without weeping

And the existence of effort without fatigue

وحليفُ الأنسِ طلقٌ وجهه

إنْ تدلَّى لحبيب ودَنَا

The friend of intimacy has a bright face

If he inclines toward the beloved and draws near

يرشد الخَلقَ ويبدي رسمَه

شاكراً واستمعوا إن أذنا

He guides creation and shows its marks

Grateful, so listen if you permit

صاحبُ القبض غريبٌ مفردٌ

إن رأى بسطاً عليه حزنا

The possessor of contraction is a lonely stranger

If he sees expansion upon it he grieves

وخليلُ البسطِ يخفي غيرةً

ضرّ باديه ويبدي المننا

And the friend of expansion hides discontent

Hurt by its appearance, and shows gifts

لا تراه الدّهرَ إلا ضاحكاً

تبصر الحْسنَ به قد قرنا

You do not see him but laughing

You see beauty accompanied with him

صاحب الهمة في إسرائه

سائر قد ذبَّ عنه الوَسَنا

The man of ambition on his night journey

Traveling, selflessness having melted off him

صاحبُ التوحيد أعمى أخرسُ

لا أنا قال ولا أيضاً أنا

The person of Divine Oneness blind, deaf

Neither "I" he says, nor "also I"

يا عبيد النفسِ ما هذا العمى

لم تزالوا تعبدون الوثنا

Oh slaves of the self, what is this blindness?

You still worship idols

سقتم الظاهر من أحوالكم

ما لنا منكم سوى ما بطنا

You have watered the outer of your states

We have no share in you but what is hidden

فاقتنوا للعلم من أعمالكم

علم فتحٍ واشربوه لبنا

So acquire knowledge among your deeds

Knowledge of opening, and drink it as milk

واخرجوا بالموت عن أنفسكم

تبصروا الحقَّ بكم مقترنا

And exit with death from your selves

You see the truth joined with you

وانظروا ما لاح في غيركم

تجدوه فيكم قد ضمنا

And look to what gleams in other than you

You will find it in yourselves, guaranteed
