ما لي استنادٌ ولا ركنٌ ولا وزرٌ

إلا إليّ وإني العينُ والخبرُ

I have no support nor pillar nor burden

Except to me, for I am the eye and the news

لي التحكم في عيني يحققه

علمي وكشفي فمني النفع والضرر

I control my eyes to achieve

My knowledge and revelation, so from me comes benefit and harm

لولاي ما كان للأسماء من أثر

أنا المسمى فلي الأسماء والأثر

Without my authority, names would have no effect

I am the named, so to me belong the names and the effect

انظر إليه بنا تجدْه عينُ أنا

فالناظرُ الحقُّ والمنظورُ والنظرُ

Look at Him through us, you will find Him the eye, I am

So the viewer is the truth, and the viewed, and the viewing

ولاتفرِّق فإن الفرقَ مجهلةٌ

فلا يفرِّق إلا الحقُ والصور

And do not distinguish, for distinction is ignorance

None distinguishes except the truth and the forms

ألا ترى ليديه إذ توجهتا

على خميرةِ من تدعونه بشر

Do you not see that when His two hands moved

Towards a lump of what you call man

قد فرَّق الله أعياناً فقال لنا

هذا المقامُ وهذا الركنُ والحجر

God distinguished essences, so He said to us

This is the station, and this the pillar, and the stone
