خُنْ عَهْدَها مثلَ ما خَانَتْكَ مُنْتَصِفاً

وامْنَحْ هَوَاها بنسيانٍ وسُلْوَانِ

Break your promise as she broke hers midway

And grant her love with forgetfulness and peace

فالغِيْدُ كالرَّوْضِ في خَلْقٍ وفي خُلُقٍ

إنْ مَرَّ جَانٍ أَتَى مِنْ بَعْدِهِ جانِ

For the branch is like the meadow in nature and manners

If a beloved passed, another will come after
