1. شَقِيْقُكَ غيب في لَحْدِهِ

    وتُشْرِقُ يا بَدْرُ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ

    Your twin sleeps in the grave

    Yet you shine, O moon, and rise thereafter

  2. فَهَلاَّ خَسَفْتَ وكان الخُسُوْفُ

    حِداداً لَبِسْتَ على فَقْدِهِ
